BK PRECISION 8514   Description / Specification:
BK PRECISION 8514 240A 1200W Single Input Electronic Load

The BK Precision 8514 1200 W Programmable DC Electronic Load can be used for testing and evaluating a variety of DC power sources. It's wide operating ranges of up to 120 V and 240 A, flexible operating modes and excellent measurement accuracy make the 8514 well suited for characterizing DC Power supplies, DC-DC Converters, batteries, fuel cells and solar cells. The loads can operate in CC, CV, CR or CP mode while voltage/current or resistance/power values are measured and displayed in real time. Load terminals are isolated and floating. Extensive protection, including over temperature, over power, over voltage, over current and reverse polarity will help protect your valuable prototype. The DC loads are easy to use. All parameters can be set quickly and precisely from the front panel, or programmed via RS232 (included) or USB (optional) interfaces. Specifications. Input rating Voltage: 0 to 120 V. Crest Factor
Crest factor or peak-to-average ratio (PAR) is a measurement of a waveform, calculated from the peak amplitude of the waveform divided by the RMS value of the waveform

Linearity
Linearity is the relative difference between the displayed power ratio, Dx/D0, and the actual (true) power ratio Px/P0 caused by changing the displayed power level from the reference level, D0, to an arbitrary displayed level, Dx.

Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
